Announcing the last word on Hammond Organs in Reason/Record: The Selig B3-Leslie.

A meticulous recreation of the legend, down to the last tone wheel! Goes where no B3 samples have gone before. Theres nothing like it available for Reason/Record - until now.
Aint Nothing Like the Real Thing, Baby...

But this ReFill comes closer than any ReFill yet released for Reason/Record!

The Selig B3-Leslie is really two devices in one ReFill - the Hammond B3 and the Leslie 147, which can be used separately as an insert in Reason/Record.

The advantages of modeling over sampling the B3 and Leslie are numerous. First of all, you can adjust the drawbars in real time (old school technique) via the on-screen 14:2 mixer, or with faders/knobs on your MIDI controller. You can also add percussion for solo lines and change key click or distortion as you play. All of this can be automated as well.

The fact that the two are modeled separately (unlike samples) has other advantages, like the fact that adjusting the expression pedal and drawbars while playing will result in changes in the distortion of the Leslie device due to different output levels of the B3 - just like the real thing! And unlike samples, the Leslie is rotating even while youre not playing, which means that repeated notes or chords will not cause the leslie to start over each time - also just like the real thing! Unlike all other previous Reason Organ patches, the Leslie accelerates and decelerates gradually and accurately, with the Bass Rotor changing much slower than the Treble Rotor. Again, just like the real thing. Baby!

A few quotes from some very satisfied customers:

"Well this refill is incredible. As your playing and working the Leslie the notes seem to 'Sling' out of the Leslie with that sound...a spinning metallic horn sound, Yes it's all digital but honestly you'll be hard pressed to find anything this realistic."

"It's great. Had a jam last night and it was a bunch of fun to use and play. Great feedback from the other guys I play with too. It's value for money - and I haven't even starting messing with the Leslie yet!"

"I love this refill! This kicks my a##! And I'm not even a keyboard player! I play guitar and use a Roland GR synth plus midi foot controllers and this fits right in and sounds awesome. The amount of work that must have gone into this is mind blowing! Excellent job!"

"Maybe the most amazing thing of all is that all of this is modeled--not sampled."

"It is very playable, the leslie on the mod wheel is very nice as is the ability to adjust the draw bars... I threw in a touch of reverb to get that lovely late 60's early 70's prog feel..... I am sure I'll be using this for all my future organ patches and very timely for me as I just deleted my NI B4 after it crashed just about every other VST host program I own..."

"Just loaded it up and tried a few patches and i'm completely stunned! it sounds absolutely AMAZING! Still can't believe they did this within reason and without samples. I never played a hammond organ that was not a really a hammond organ that felt so real. I just loaded up some patches and played along to some sounds we're doing right now with some hammond-like sounds and the difference was amazing. It really feels like an instrument and not some bunch of patches. I played it to my girlfriend (and she knows how a hammond organ sounds) and told her that what she heard was not a sampled B3 but a bunch of Thors. Come on guys, don't be so modest, THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE!"

"A paltry 35 dollars for quite possibly one of the best software organs i've ever heard or played with is amazing. The sonic quality of this thing is stunning. I'm not an organist, so I have very little bias, but my ears still tell me that this excels over the others I've played. Just the behavior alone is so realistic it's shocking."

PLEASE NOTE: This ReFill requires Reason version 4.0 or higher, due to extensive use of Combinator and Thor devices. There is not a VSTi version available, and it will not work with any DAW: this is a Reason and Record product only. Also note that a few people have reported problems with AMD processors creating distorted/clicking/popping audio - we're researching the problem but it appears to be beyond our control.
